I like this name, it’s pretty and has a nice ring to it. But I’m not a fan of the famous bearer of the name, Nessa Barrett. She is quite problematic and disrespectful.

Nessa is the name of the Water-type Gym Leader from Pokemon Sword and Shield.

In both the novel and the musical "Wicked" the sister of The Wicked Witch of the West, a.k.a. The Wicked Witch of the East, is named Nessarose.
