Means "malice striker". In Norse mythology this is the name of the dragon who lives in the pool Hvergelmir and gnaws at the roots of Yggdrasil. He lives in Nástönd, a part of Niflheimr ("the dark home") or Helheimr ("Hel's home") and chews on the corpses of those guilty of murder, adultery and oath-breaking (which the Norsemen considered the worst possible crimes).
