Novella Nelson (1939 – 2017) was an American actress and singer. She established her career as a singer, both on the off-Broadway and Broadway stage and in cabaret-style locales.
Novella Jewell Trott (1846 – 1929) was an American author and editor. She worked on the editorial staff of the E. C. Allen publishing company and served as sole editor of Practical Housekeeper and Daughters of America. In 1893, she served as vice-president for the Woman's Press Department of the World's Columbian Exposition, in Chicago.
Novella Carpenter is an American journalist, urban farmer and the author of the 2009 memoir Farm City: The Education of an Urban Farmer. The book describes her extensive garden in Ghost Town, a run-down neighborhood about a mile from downtown Oakland, California. Farm City was listed by some reviewers as one of the top books of 2009, and it was the 2014 selection of the Marin County Free Library, City Public Libraries of Marin County and Dominican University of California "One Book One Marin" reading program.
Novella Calligaris is a retired Italian swimmer, and the first Italian to win an Olympic medal in swimming. Her elder brother Mauro Calligaris was also an Olympic swimmer.
