Orestes

I'm surprised that there are a couple saints with this name given the story about the mythical character killing his mom.

Hey, he did what he had to do. I don’t think it’s that bad of a connotation.

Orestes sounds a little mysterious to me for some reason. I actually quite like the name but considering what the character is known for, I'd be a little uneasy naming my son this.

This name makes me laugh from every aspect. Even so, I'm not saying that it shouldnt be considered;

I like the sound of this name, but not the association with the mythological character.
