My name's Pip- well technically Philippa but no one has ever called me that so I and my friends introduce me as Pip and then nicknames are Pippy and Philly. Don’t really care too much for Pippa.
Adorable!
Sounds like "nip". But it is still adorable on a puppy!
Great nickname for Philip! I also like the name for a pet mouse.
Very cute as a dog name or cat name or a toy animal.
For a single name, a good name for a girl, for a nickname, good for a boy.
I think it's too short. I would prefer this name on a girl.
I think Pip is a cute nickname for Phillip.
When I hear this name, I think of a mouse.
I love Pip as a nickname, I think it's cute for a child, but somehow carries well into adulthood.
I like the association with dominoes more than that of the Dickens character. It's a cite nickname.
I have nothing against the name (although I have much against Dickens' character) but I just see this working way better for a dog, maybe, than a person.
I wouldn't name my child this, but it isn't an unusual name or nickname over here.
Unless you're slurring the name, then, yes, it will sound like "pimp". I think that this is a cute name. And it conjures up images of a naive, wholesome boy or young man.
This name sounds like "pimp".
