Priscilla is my daughter’s name, so of course I think it’s lovely. Her nickname is Rilla, which is a nod to the Anne of Green Gables books (the last of the series is about Anne’s daughter, “Rilla of Ingleside”).
This name is very popular in France. Especially in the early 90's. It is also a classic old Latin derivative name once very popular in England, along the same lines of Prunella or a biblical name. It seems to pop in and out of popularity through generations. [noted -ed]
