Raniero Nicolai (1893 – 1958) was an Italian poet. He won a gold medal in the art competitions at the 1920 Olympic Games for his "Canzoni Olimpioniche" ("Olympic Songs").
Raniero Alliata di Pietratagliata or more correctly "of the Duchi di Pietratagliata" (1886 – 1979) was an Italian intellectual, theosophist and entomologist. His insect collection is conserved in museum in Terrasini.
Raniero Monaco di Lapio (1983-) is an Italian actor and former model.
Raniero was the birthname of Pope Paschal II (Pontificate between 1099-1118).
