Rita is a christian girl name and it is an English originated name with multiple meanings. Rita's name meaning is pearl and the associated lucky number is 3.I have always loved and admired my sister’s name Rita. And, it’s a Biblical name. The spiritual meaning of Rita is the physical order of the universe, the order of the sacrifice, and the moral law of the world. Rita has a very powerful meaning. And it sounds really pretty.
Rita is a very pretty name.
I sincerely do not like it at all. It sounds a bit irritating. I prefer the long and nobler form Margherita.
It's such a simple name. I like it though, when I think of the name I see a girl with long braids picking flowers. I really like it :).
My ass is a better name then Rita, and that means something because my ass is not that pretty.
Fits great for middle aged women. Just a good name!
Ages very well.
Fits ladies of any age. I like it!
My parents named me Rita Ann. I was born in 1951. Growing up, I could not wait until I was old enough to change my name legally. I never bothered to do this. One positive thing growing up, I only knew one other Rita.
This is a beautiful name on its own!
Rita is a classic name that appeals to me as a sweet variant to Margaret. This simple and easily pronounceable name makes it
all the more reason why I would not hesitate to use it on any child I might have in the future.
My name is beautiful. I got this name from 2 beautiful ladies. My Grandmother and my Aunt.
It also means "Pearl".
Hate the name, hate the name, hate the name! Disgusting name! Make this name extinct if you truly care about the world!
Pretty, but as a Harry Potter fan, I can't help but think of Rita Skeeter, and that's not a very positive association at all.
I've always loved & admired this name. It reminds me of a movie star type name. Very pretty, yet strong. I love it.
Such a beautiful name!
In my language rit means an ass and that's why I find this name really funny.
I always thought Rita was a very pretty name. There was a girl who lived across the street from me named Rita. We all thought she was so pretty and her name fit her. Then I went to middle school and met this big headed obnoxious girl named Rita. I was appalled that such a person could have such a pretty name.
Even though it is old fashioned, I like this name. My nan is called Rita. I wouldn't call my children that (I prefer rarer names), but it's really pretty!
