The Roald Dahl association makes this name pretty charming to me. I'm not sure I'd give it to an actual child, though. It's definitely not a bad name. I'm just not a huge fan of the sound/look. However, my opinion could easily change. It certainly has before.

As a kid, I've LOVED Roald Dahl's books (I still have them in my house!), but the name itself isn't very attractive.

While I do like Roald Dahl, the name is so blatantly associated with him that it would be hard to pull off if you're not Norwegian.
