Roger Linus, the father of Benjamin Linus in the TV show LOST. His character is a drunk who treats his son like dirt because his wife- Ben's mother- died during childbirth. As a result of this I now name all abusive fathers in my stories Roger. *nod*

There was Roger Keith Barrett, formed lead singer and guitarist for the band Pink Floyd. He is better known, however, under the pseudonym of Syd Barrett, which he took upon joining the band. They kicked him out of the band after recording just two albums with him, because he took drugs that made him go mad. He died July 7, 2008. Mostly I remember him as the genius who threw it away.
