This can also be a pet form for other names related to the Dutch word Roos like simply Roos, Rosalie, Rosanne etc. What x-mar said is right, -je is a Dutch suffix that can be compared to the English -y or -ie. I guess you could say that Roosje is the Dutch form of Rosie.
Roosje means "little rose" ("-je" behind a word is the same as putting "little" in front of it, and "roos" means "rose").
