Seems like the boring version of Vivian. Also I say it like vee vee en.
Beautiful name ♥.
I can imagine someone intelligent with this name.
Gorgeous!
Ugh, just use my grandmother's spelling, Vivian. Vivien is just trying too hard.
Prettiest spelling. Not too flouncy or overbearing like Vivienne or Vivian.
My English name is Vivien. My father gave this name to me when I was born. I think this name is rarely used in China right now, although many people have the name Vivian. Anyway, I like this name!
My daughter has this name, and almost everyone agrees it is a beautiful name! I prefer the Vivien spelling over the Vivian spelled name because it is nicer in my opinion. Though almost everyone spells her name wrong!
My name is Vivien, but I'm from Hungary and it's very popular here. In elementary school there were 4 other Viviens in my class, and now in high school there are two more. There's also a Vivien in my gymnastics team. But I really love my name, I just wish it weren't so common. I think it's a great choice if you live in a country where it isn't well known. My friends call me Vivi, and my parents call me Vivus (pronounced like Vivush).
As stated before, Vivien Leigh was born Vivian. I'm not sure why she changed the spelling of her name, maybe to make herself more unique since Vivian was a relatively popular name when she was famous. Anyways, I prefer the spelling Vivian. Vivienne looks unbalanced and over the top to me, and Vivien looks misspelled. But Vivian is beautiful and classic with a little bit of spunk. Whatever way its spelled, it's a beautiful name!
This name is beautiful, and the gorgeous Vivien Leigh doesn't hurt either!
Both Vivien and Vivian seem like male names to me, but Vivien seems a lot more masculine.
I like this version better than Vivian. In fact, in the 19th century Vivian was often used as a male name, with Vivien the feminine form.
A great name. Delicate and feminine, but it also has a mysterious quality to it. I think this would make a pretty middle name, I would use it in reference to the beautiful and talented Vivien Leigh. I realise that this name isn’t popular in the UK at the moment, but I don’t see why beautiful names like this can’t be used as middle names if the parents disagree with it as a first name.
Vivien Leigh was a beautiful and talented actress, and Vivien is a beautiful name. I feel it sounds sassy and elegant at the same time just like she was. Though the sound and look of it it may not fit modern society I think it might work as a middle name.
Very cute & chic name; I definitely prefer this spelling over Vivian!
I have been named Vivien for many years. My uncle gave this name to me since it sounds very similar to my own Chinese name. Here in China, many girls have this name, spelt like Vivian though it isn't that popular in any English-speaking country as statistics showed. Some Chinese celebrities are named Vivian. Maybe this is the influential way of having so many Vivian around me.
I don't really like this spelling. An unaware person might pronounce it Viv-een. With spellings like Vivian, Vivienne, and Vivianne it is easy to see the spelling.
I've always loved my name and that it's relatively rare without being odd. Only problem is, almost everyone mis-spells it.
This is beautiful. There are hardly any children named this at the moment, but it's really pretty, chic, unusual, but not weird. This is how Vivien Leigh Spelt her name. The best way. Vivian looks like the man's spelling to me and Vivienne is too OTT unless you're French.
