Zara Aronson, OBE, (née Baar; 1864–1944) was an Australian journalist, editor, welfare worker, feminist and restaurateur of Jewish background. She was born in Australia but spent her formative years in Europe, before returning to Sydney where she became a socialite as well as a social columnist and journalist in a number of major newspapers across Australian cities. She pursued social and charity work as well as her own business in publishing, food and catering. Aronson helped form the Society for Women Writers and a local branch of John O'London's Literary Circle, and was a founding member and secretary of the National Council of Women of Australia. During World War II she raised funds for the Junior Red Cross by selling a cookery book, after which she published another well-received cookbook, Twentieth Century Cookery Practice.
Zara Anne Elizabeth Tindall MBE is a British equestrian and the second child and only daughter of Anne, Princess Royal, and her first husband, Captain Mark Phillips. Zara Maria Larsson is a Swedish singer and songwriter. She first gained national fame for winning the 2008 season of the talent show Talang, the Swedish version of Got Talent, at the age of 10. Larsson signed with the record label TEN Music Group in 2012 and released her debut EP album, Introducing, in January 2013. The single "Uncover" topped the charts in Sweden, Denmark, and Norway. By February 2013, "Uncover" was certified platinum by Universal Music Sweden. In July 2013, Introducing was certified triple platinum in the country. Larsson also signed a three-year contract with Epic Records in the United States in April 2013. She performed at the opening and closing ceremonies in France for UEFA Euro 2016.

Amancio Ortega opened the first Zara store in 1974 in a central street in downtown A Coruña, Galicia, Spain. Ortega named his store Zorba after watching the classic film Zorba the Greek, but apparently there was a bar that was called the same, Zorba, two blocks away, and the owner of the bar came and said, "this is going to confuse things to have two Zorbas." They had already made the molds for the letters in the sign, so they just rearranged them to see what they could find, and they found Zara.
