Zulema

Zulema la Astróloga was a medieval Moorish noblewoman who lived in what is now Palma, Majorca, in the 13th century. Her son was Ali of La Palomera, who defected to King James I of Aragon during the conquest of Majorca. It was said that he chose to defect when his mother, an astronomer, warned him that James would conquer the island.
