From Sino-Korean 藝 "art; talent, ability" (ye) and 珍 "precious, valuable, rare" or 眞 "real, actual, true, genuine" (jin). The first syllable can also come from 예수님 (Yesu-nim), the Korean name for JESUS, for meanings like "truth of Jesus".
