There was a boxer in the early 1970s in Mexico named Erubey Carmona, but he had changed his name from Eudibiel. Since all the people I can find with this name are young Mexican or Mexican-American men, I'm beginning to think the name originated with this boxer. Is that plausible? But then, where did Carmona get the name?
