According to Vimla Patel 'Babies' Names from the Indian Subcontinent' there's a Sanskrit name Chaitanya which means 'consciousness' and is the name of a saint.
I bought this book thinking it was basic but useful, and look how useful it proves to be! I didn't even know that there were Indian saints...
