[Opinions] WDYT of Gwen?
I went to the Gwen Stefani concert tonight, and I have come away a fan of her and the name. I really really love it. WDYT of Gwen?
My favourite full name is Gwendolen, but should it be Gwendolen "Gwen", or just Gwen?Mn suggestions would be great!
Thanks :)

I like the name, largely in part to Gwen Stefani! I like Gwen on it's own, but I also like it as a nn for Gwendolyn.

I like Gwen. I prefer it as a nickname for Gwendolen, which I love, but I think it can stand on its own just fine. :)Gwen Althea
Gwen Amabel
Gwen Camellia
Gwen Cecilia
Gwen Eleonora / Eleanora
Gwen Lavender
Gwen Mathilde (I really like this one!)
Gwen Millicent
Gwen Rosabel
Gwen Rosalind
Gwen Susannah

I love Gwen Mathilde! I am thinking I prefer Gwendolen nn Gwen at the moment, and I love Gwendolen Mathilde even more! Gwen Althe and Gwen Rosalind are also lovely

I love Gwen (both the name and Mrs. Stefani-Rossdale)! I really like it as just Gwen, maybe short for Gwyneth because I don't really like Gwendolen. I also like the spelling Gwyn, mainly due to a character in a book I read.

I like Gwen a lot either as a nn or just alone. My faves for a full name (to use it as a nn) would be Gwenyth and Gwenevere.

Personally, I prefer just Gwen without a full name

Ditto.

I think Gwen is a fine name, not one I particularly love but I don't dislike it either. I wouldn't recommend giving a kid a full name like Gwendolen unless you absolutely love that name as much as Gwen. Gwen is fine on its own.

I really dislike Gwen--I don't know if I have any good reasons, but the name really, really puts me off. I wish it didn't, because then I'd be all over Guinnevere; the only reason I'm not is the fear that she'd become a Gwen despite my best efforts to call her Winnie. ;)I'd go with Gwendolen, personally (though I'm more partial to Gwendolyn myself), because there are so many other nn options there, too. Provided you love Gwendolen itself enough to use, that is. If you don't, Gwen does hold up well on its own--it simply doesn't appeal to me. ^^;;;Array
