I found an interesting name, Sandulf-it means True Wolf-

Nay. I thought of a sandal. Plus I hate -ulf ending, they sound so rough. I do like the meaning though.

Its okay, it is actually mentioned on this site under its Spanish form of Sandalio :)
I like Sandalio slightly more

This is the only site I trust to give the correct meaning of a name, and it's not listed here, so I'm skeptical.

Either way, I find the sound unattractive; it reminds me of Gandalf.
