It was hard to break the news to Joel initially, as we hadn't been planning on having kids for a couple more years. He freaked out a little at first, but then he was okay. At least, until I had an ultrasound where the doctor informed me it was twins. Oh man. When I told Joel, he just about fainted! But he loves the boys very much. He went on a Irish history kick a few months before they were born (he's half-Irish) and insisted on them having Irish names. I found a few I liked in the bunch, so I agreed.
