I adore Seraphina (and Serafina) and don't think it's too frilly. Sera is cute but I prefer no nickname. Other nicknames could be Fina, Fee, Phina, Nina, Nia, Pia, and Seraph.

I can't stand Verity, sorry, and it doesn't flow with Seraphina.

I love Seraphina. I don't really like any nicknames for it. I dislike Verity, sorry.

So many people on these boards really like Seraphina, but I just can't get into it. I read a book once where a good witch was named Seraphina (I think Philip Pullman). I do find it to be frilly, even for me who likes frilly things like Gwendolen and Arabella.

I love Seraphina. I would use it to honor a friend and sister named Sarah. Since Seraphina can also be Seraphine and Seraphia I would use the nn Phia.
