Totally agreeThe sound is great, imo, but I can't get past the meaning.

I love it!It is one of my all time favourite boys names that I often over look. It is so handsome and I love the nn Mac/Macky. I am having a thing for Malachy nn Mac/Macky lately as well.

It's lovely aside from it's meaning. I don't think I could ever get past the meaning enough to use it.

I really like Cormac. The problem is, I associate it with McCormick which is a really popular spice brand. No one would really associate it though, I am just wierd like that.

I like Cormac, my only problem is the meaning. It's unfortunate.

I like Hamish, Angus, Maeve and Cormac. although Cormac reminds me of Cormac McLaggen from Harry Potter.

I think Cormac is refreshing, it has the same feel as Lachlan, but better in my opinion. There is more of a roll of the tongue and as a name it seems more masculine and handsome sounding to me.I love the Hamish, Angus, Maeve, & Cormac combo.I think Isobel, Maeve, Hamish & Cormac would make a great combo as well.
