How do YOU say Malin...or how do you think/know it should be said? I've been seeing it in a few magazines recently and like the look of it but I'm not sure how to pronounce it correctly. WDYT?

I can't say I like this name. All Mal- names immediately make me think of the connotation "bad," as in malicious, malady, etc.

Malin is prn MAH-lihn or MAL-ihn. It's a male old English name from Mahthild-in meaning "war-mighty" or "little war-mighty one"

At first glance I would pronounce it MAH-linn. But when I looked it up on another site it says MAH-leen. I prefer the pronounciation MAH-leen. I also really like Malina (mah-LEE-nah)
