This is Kevin and Kimi Grant. Kevin is 26, Kimi is 25. The couple resides in Pittsburgh, PA, where they hope to raise a family. They met in college at the University of Pittsburgh, where Kevin was in Medical School and Kimi was studying to be a nurse. Currently, Kimi is a neonatal nurse and Kevin is finishing up his residency in orthopaedics at Children's Hospital. They are living in an apartment in the city, but are building a house in the suburbs so they can raise a family. Kimi will take off time as a neonatal nurse, and probably end up being a stay-at-home mom. Her mom, Lisa, is very helpful and she knows she'll be around a lot when the baby comes. Kevin's family is from Ohio, but he wanted to study at Pitt. Linda and Keith, Kevin's parents, are sad that they can't see their grandchildren as much as they'd like. Since Kevin has only one sister, Stacey, who is in college, Linda and Keith think they might move to Pittsburgh to be around their son and grandkids more.
Kimi and Kevin first met from Kimi's best friend, Rachel, in their sophomore year. Rachel was dating a guy named Brent who happened to be roomates with Kevin. They all went out on a date and Kimi and Kevin hit it off. Rachel and Brent are now married as well, and they live close by.
