I love French names, so I say yes, go French names!
For a girl, I like the name Yvette. But the name Nathalie is also very pretty and keeps the -ette from being repeated.
For a boy, Elliot is my favorite out of those listed. I'm also partial to the name Olivier and I think it would suit the set well.
