this is the guy who refused to acknowledge what was so awful about Isaac Cox. :-P I wouldn't bother trying to reason in this case.

And who said there was no reason not to use Casper, because who cares about 20th c. popular culture references? I really don't see how Calvin is so much more tease-worthy and nerdy than Casper.

But I only stated my observation. I've known plenty of Calvins and they were never teased.
