[Opinions] WDYTO Odette?
I've fell in love with this name recently. Would you use it? Is it better or worse than Odile?

I like Odette better than Odile, mainly because of Swan lake. Odile was the black swan... hence my dislike, overall. I wouldn't use Odette myself, no (because I adore Ottoline/Ottilie/Otthild) and it's a bit sad, but would gush over a real life Odette. How utterly refreshing! :D

Personally I wouldnt use it, but thats not to say its unusable! I think its fine for someone to use if they like it.

I've been in love with Odette for so long--it's one of my absolute favorites! I was actually thinking about it today in French class (we were watching a movie and one of the character's names was Odile). Odile is nrms, but I'm beginning to warm up to Odilia a lot and am considering Odilia nn Odette (I was actually just about to make a post about this before I saw yours).

I love this name, but Odie might become a nickname.

I don't dislike it - it was the name of a famous World War Two heroine.

Both are pretty, but not my style. They're too closely associated with Swan Lake for me to see them as anything but a character name.

I like Odette. I think most people would get the pronunciation a lot easier than they would Odile, but I like Odile a lot too. Both great names in my opinion.

It sounds harsh to me. I don't care for Odile either because it sounds like a piece of equipment to me. Odilia is pretty, though.
