[Opinions] Denver and Anya

What do you think of the name Denver for a boy?? I'm very unsure about the name but family members seem to like it. If you like this name what middle names could be used? Also, wdyto Anya?

I dislike Denver.
I like Anya until my boyfriend started laughing and saying "I want to be "Anya""...as in "on ya". Get it? So now that's all I think of.

Uh.I am very o_0 at this.No way would I ever associate Anya with buffy. Just saying.

It's a TV showBuffy the Vampire Slayer starring Sarah Michelle Gellar. Came out in '98 (? I think) and went for 8 or 9 seasons. Anya was the name of a demon when she was in human form. (Demon name Anyanka)

Yeah butthat's not an association many people would make. Even if I watched it I seriously doubt it would be my first association or that people who liked Anya first found it on the TV show. It is not a Buffy-centric name.

Buffy has a HUGE cult following. Any of the shows huge number of fans would likely still associate Anya with the show. I know I still do. Willow and Xander, too.
That said, I wouldn't assume the association to be true for anyone other than myself.

I love Anya but I think I prefer Aine. Dever, however, I don't care for. The first thing I thought of was an omelet.

As for Denver, I don't like city names on children, in general. Geneva might be my exception.

i don't like Denver, it seems a bit trendy and doesnt sound attractive.
Anya's a nice name on someone else's child :)
