[Opinions] Gwenhwyfar
Pronounced gwen-hi-var. It's part of an old email address of mine (back when I would pronounce it gwen-hooih-far xD). I still like it, and I when I was looking at it just now I realized it gives off a kind of dreamy/fantasy feeling to me. Anyways, what do you think of Gwenhwyfar?

It sounds like someone with a mouth full of potato chips is trying to say Jennifer.. At least that's what first came to mind

It's the Welsh form of Guinevere, pronounced "GWEN-ih-var". Jennifer is actually derived from Gwenhwyfar.

Yes, I know but it doesn't change my opinion. It still sounds as if someone was trying to say Jennifer. Same problem with Guinevere, I think it's because Jennifer is so common...you automatically assume it has to be Jennifer. Which is why I wouldn't use a name that is very similar to a common one. She'll get "Jennifer!?" all the time.

Love it.
As a middle name it's fine, but as a first name it would be better to spell it Guinevere.

I like it a lot on paper but think it may be a bit much on an actual person.
