Although I don't hate the pronunciation MAD-ə-layn, I find it slightly awkward. Especially when at a glance, people will assume it is Madeleine or Madeline. I think Madelaine Iris is a lovely combo but Madeleine Iris or Madeline Iris would be more livable.
