Ava is nice enough. I'm sure I would like it more if it weren't so popular. If it weren't popular I would probably say that it's simple and elegant. I really like Ava as a nickname in Avaline and Avalon. Ella is pretty too, though I prefer Ela. Ada is really nice and for me has that "cool oldfashioned" feeling. I prefer Ada to Adelaida, but I think Ada makes a great nickname for it.
