[Opinions] Lilah/Lila
How do you pronounce these? I love Lilah, pronounced Ly-lah, just like the end of Delilah. Would it get mispronounced as Lee-lah?

I like Lila a lot, especially without that final h (it just seems unnecessary to me.) I always pronounce it correctly as LYE-lah, but I know some people think it's LEE-lah.

I think it depends on your native language. I would tend to pronounce both of them Ly-lah

I love these names, and pronounce both LY-la.
The Lilah spelling really clinches that pronunciation.
Lilah can be a form of Lilach - a modern Hebrew name meaning lilac.

I like Lila a lot. Lilah isn't as striking to me. But it is the opposite of how I feel about Norah. I prefer it to Nora.

I like it spelled Lilah better, but I both pronounced them Ly-lah.

Lila CAN be pronounced LEE-la depending on where the person is from. According to BtN, the Sanskrit version is pronounced like that. It's the pronunciation I prefer, however, as a US resident, I realize that's not likely to happen so I accept LIE-la even though I don't like it nearly as well. So, yes, the name is great, though that superfluous h just looks wrong to my eyes.

I like it. It would get mispronounced as Lee-lah is it was spelled Lila (I think; that's the pronounciation that pops into my head when I see it that way). I think I actually prefer the spelling Lilah anyway.

I pronounce them both LIE-la, like the end of Delilah. I don't think it would be mispronounced as LEE-la too often. In terms of spelling, I prefer Lila.

I pronounce it Ly-lah and I LOVE the name. Its #2 on my list.

I've only heard it as Ly-lah. Adding an "h" to the end of Lila, which is such a lovely name, really ruins it.
