What do you think of it on a girl?
Do you prefer Alix?
Alix, Alex or Alyx?

It's ok as a nn for Alexandra. So yeah, I'd prefer Alix.

This said, Alex works better on an adult in formal situations than something like Maddie or Abbie.

I like it a lot and always have. I would name my daughter Alexandra and call her Alex.

I like Alix too, but can't compare it to Alex since it's not a related name and Alex is a nickname.

I know but they kind of sound the same and I couldn't decide which I liked best.
