Meh ...
When I see this, I assume it's lifted straight from Ms Witherspoon. That's why Ava has always irked me so much, and Deacon is going to be the same. A sudden, blatant imitation that sweeps the world. Lol.
However, unlike many, I'm not bothered by the church connotations. I just haven't been involved enough in any church to gather those associations, I suppose :-)
