ADD/ADD: Amala Kashi (3) / Padma Retika (3) Dear Bobberlynn’s Adoption Agency, It has been a year since Amala and Padma have come to live with us. What wonderful little girls! Though quite shy at first, they have truly blossomed into loving, smart, well adjusted little girls. We immediately enrolled the girls into speech therapy classes. We did so not only for Padma’s hearing problems but for both of the girls’ education in the English language. Hopefully when they are older, they, like their brother and sister, will begin a language class of their choice. Padma is learning Indian sign language in conjunction with English sign language. We’ve all picked up a few signs here and there and Amala has been a big help as Padma’s relay. Padma’s pediatrician expects that she will be completely deaf by the age of six. We hope that her scheduled surgeries will delay this indefinitely but it is better to teach her now at such an impressionable age so that signing will become natural for her if her surgery/surgeries cannot delay her hearing prognosis. They both are doing very well in their lessons and are scheduled to join a preschool class in a year’s time.At first, Padma was quite shy and withdrawn and I can only speculate that it is because of her hearing difficulties. Amala seems to pull her sister into activities so that she is never alone or left out. Since day one, Amala has always been curious about her surroundings, constantly pointing and asking (at first, in her native tongue and within a month, in English) what something was. Once she got her answer, she would show and/or tell Padma which always seemed to delight the girl as well. Being twins, I can only assume that what one thinks the other surely thinks the same. Padma has adjusted very well especially now that she can communicate with others. She, like her sister, is always laughing and asking questions.

Addie has really taken to Amala and Padma. She loves to play dolls and dress up with them and the girls return their affections.

Anneliese Georgina is a seventeen year old from Germany who is six months pregnant with a son, still not named. Anneliese loves children, learning languages, writing, and drawing. She suffers from post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) after escaping a house fire when she was 7 only to discover her father did not make it. She speaks fluent German and English, in addition to semi-fluent Hebrew. She practices Judaism. She would like her son to be named, in some way, after her father (Adrian Hubert Isidor). Finlay Alaois and Moyna Sive are ten year old fraternal twins from Ireland. Finlay likes to ride horses, hike, and read. He also loves to play jokes on people, though this sometimes gets him into trouble. He is authoritative defiant. Moyna is very reserved. She hates spiders, but other than that, she loves being outdoors. She is an animal lover and aspires to be a vet. Moyna does excellent in school as well. Please keep us updated on Finlay, Moyna, Anneliese, and Anneliese's son!

Antonio Carlos, Adelia Camila, and Inez Matilde are siblings from Spain.
Antonio, age 13, love playing football (soccer), running, reading, and hanging out with friends.
Adelia is 10 years old. She likes to dance, sing, knit, garden, and play with other girls her age. She and Inez are very close. Adelia has mild asthma.
Inez is a very sporty 8 year old. She is almost as good at football as her older brother is. Most of all she loves to spend time with her sister.
With your permission they'd like to bring along Nanook (m), their two year old Alaskan malamute. Please keep us updated in Antonio, Adelia, and Inez (and Nanook if you decide to keep him!).

AD (2): Judith Elora2 years have passed since we adopted Judy, Adam, & David. Many things have changed with our children. When we first brought the kids home they were very shy and had a tough time communicating. In our house we mainly speak French so it was difficult for the boys to understand what they were being told (by our other kids), but eventually they caught on. My other kids; Andrew, Sarah, Leah, & Ray started speaking Hebrew and English more frequently. At about 12 months old Judy began to walk. We were so excited!

Hello Adoption Agency! We just wanted to write you about our son, Sebastian, who is now seven years old.Seb was been a wonderful addition to our family. He is so kind and caring, but is also adventurous and fun! He is a very intelligent little boy and is always surprising me at how much he knows. He started school last year and loves it; it is so good for him to be able to learn even more things and be in a classroom full of kids. I am happy to write that Seb is now in 1st grade, at the top of his class, has many friends and even has a little girlfriend, Stella.Seb has also been a wonderful big brother to our now five year old twins, Claire and Parker. From day one, Seb has been willing and wanting to engage in play with his siblings and shows them how to play new games. Seb has been teaching Claire and Parker many new things since he started school and they love it. Seb and Parker are always playing outside together (Seb shows Parker how to do "boy" activities) and they are very close brothers. Seb is very protective of Claire, watching out for any mean children on the play ground and making sure that, if Claire is hurt, she gets the proper medical attention. As parents, we love Seb so much! He fits right into our family and is such a charming little boy. We are so blessed to have him and just wanted to thank you from the bottom of our hearts for giving us this wonderful little boy, our son.Sincerely, Jack and Keara Taylor

Zofia is an adorable little girl who loves her brothers very much. Alexander and Graham were so excited to get a little sister and they are very protective of her. Photobucket
August was the quiet and calm at first but after spending a lot of time with his brothers he started to be much more lively and more like his sister.
When we first got August and Zofia the twins were extremely close and were afraid to be without each other but they can now be separated without being sad or nervous. The twins love our animals and the dogs and cats have been very patient with them. Zofia loves riding the Shetland pony Olga, but August, who is less adventurous than Zofia, prefers to ride Pegasus together with Alexander and only for a few minutes at the time.
We suspect that Zofia and August spend a lot of time indoors at the orphanage in Poland because the love playing outdoors and their hair, which was dark when we got them is now blondish.
Overall the twins are doing great and we now feel like out family is complete. Thank you Bopperlynn's Adoption Agency!
The Peterson family,
Zara and Bastian
Alexander, Graham, Zofia and August
