[Opinions] Potter
The other day my friend reminded me of how, when the Harry Potter books first came out (I think I was 16 or something), we thought the name "Potter" would be sooo cool for a little boy. So for a while it became a running thing to refer to our future children as my son Potter and her twin daughters Kennedy and Something-we-can't-remember-anymore. Potter for a boy. What would you think if you came across that!

I would actually probably think "one who pots", and then Harry Potter.
:P I wasn't going to post in this thread, but I'm watching an episode of Pokemon and there is a man named Potter! :D He works in a garden. http://bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wiki/Potter

As in pot? No thanks.

I'd think it was the surname trend going too far.

I'd think of HP, but that's a plus for me.

I think of, well, pot.The Harry Potter association comes in second; the first thing I think of is smoking a fat joint.

Potter is kind of cool

I think it's cute, really. Many surnames are now first names and Potter is very strong, and Harry Potter is a great association. I just might have to use it for a character or something!

I would think Harry Potter. :D The first book was first released on my second birthday, actually, so I'm definitely a Potter Generation kid, even if I didn't really read the books.
