I prefer Steven, because it's less confusing. I always used to think Stephen was pronounced "STEH-fan", and I still read it like that, sometimes. Saying that, my dad and friend are both called Steven, so I'm somewhat biased. ;-)

I'm not mad on the name, to be honest. I'd probably use it as a MN. I like the nn Steve, though. Or "Stee", or "Stuh", as I call my friend. ^ ^
