[Facts] Québécois ?
Are there any French names that are typical for Québec and (almost) exclusively used in that region or by French Canadian parents?
French names you wouldn't hear in France? Thanks in adavance!

I found a website for Quebec names- http://sites.rapidus.net/jhuriaux/femmesa.htmlThere must be thousands of names on that site. Alot of them look really unusual.

Thanks! When I looked up one of the names that were mentioned in the thread cedem showed me yesterday, I stumbled across that site, too. Some of the names are quite pretty, others... uhm... rather interesting ;-)
(As far as I could take a look, that is. There are some 20.000 names on this site)

Just a quick answer..the actual name, "France". which likely you wouldn't hear in country of the same name.
It's usually a double name..Marie-France. Maybe someone else can add?
