[Opinions] No, but words with a German origin or root form...
in reply to a message by Jacks
...will pronounce words with an "sch" like "sh". It just so happens that the word "school" has middle Dutch roots, so like Schuyler, it's pronounced with a "sk". An honest mistake for anyone to make if they'd never heard Schuyler pronounced before. :)_____
