[Opinions] Middle name for Ingrid
can you suggest some potential middle names for Ingrid? I'm fresh out of ideas. The DF loves girly, frilly names. Thank you so much!

Ingrid Magdalena was the first one to come to mind and it definitely fits the frilly, girly bill.

I went to school with a girl named Ingrid Maya N_____. In a time when everyone else's mn was Marie, Lynn or Ann / Anne, I thought her parents did a great job naming her. I liked it so much that I used Ingrid Maia as a pseudonym on another site. I pronounce both Maya and Maia the same way, "MIE-uh." Perhaps you and your df will like them too. :-)

Some names that I loved that DH vetoed because they were "too frilly" were Felicity, Salomea, Apollonia, Sophronia, Sylvia, Penelope, Magnolia, Esmeralda, Dulcinea, Diantha, Demetria, Clemency, Aurelia, Ardea. Any of them would go well with Ingrid.

Ingrid is great for frilly middle names. It's pretty but solid and won't look flimsy no matter what kind of thing you pair with it, I think. I like: Ingrid Valeria
Ingrid Amalia
Ingrid Justine
Ingrid Bethania / Bethany
Ingrid Annemarie
Ingrid Gisela / Giselle
Ingrid Gracilia
Ingrid Rosemonde
Ingrid Frederica
Ingrid Evelyn
Ingrid Marceline
Ingrid Lucine

Ingrid Helene is my first suggestion, but its not exactly a frilly, girly middle name. Maybe Helena would make it more girly? I don't really know how to define girly names, nms really, but I'll try my best for some other suggestions:Ingrid Rosemarie
Ingrid Charlotta
Ingrid Lilia
Ingrid Lorelei
Ingrid Amelie (e is accented, so it sounds something like Ah-may-lie)
Ingrid Serena Do you like any?

My favorite of those is Ingrid Amelie, but when I say girly, I mean like girly-girly. Think Isabella, Elizabeth, Anastasia, Annabelle, etc. Like over-the-top frilly. The ones you have there are the kind of names *I* like, and the task for me is to find one that my *fiancee* likes. :P So far, you've done an excellent job of appealing to my tastes. I'd use any of those (but change Rosemarie to Rosemary) except Serena because I ran into a very nasty Sarena a couple of years ago.BTW, I love Isobel. Trying to talk the fiancee into either that or Isabel, but he's just fanatical about Isabella (blechh).
