Louis, because it's one of the best names ever.
Julian is okay, but sort of, I dunno, calculatedly inoffensive, and a little trendy. And boring I think.
Louis is great though. The ambiguous pronunciation and the nickname Lou are both big pluses in my book.

Yes, I was trying to figure out how to phrase that in my first post but everything I said sounded snooty so I just left it out. Julian is very AWARE of itself.

Ha! Yes, I guess there is a great deal of self-awareness about the name. I prefer one of these names and my wife prefers the other. You can probably guess which way I am leaning.
