Help[Opinions] I seem to be in the minority here

but I can't stand Oona. It has a very unpleasant sound - ew. The double oo makes me think of ooze. Even spelled Una it still has the ew sound and looks like a mispelled Luna. It doesn't sound serious to me. Sorry but Oona/Una is always a name that I can't figure out why people would name their children. It's sounds awful imo. I think I would hate being named that.

I usually fall head over heels for Irish names, but this one just doesn't strike my fancy. It's not pretty looking and sounds really silly. Reminds me of a boy I knew in Jr. High named Onie.

You pretty much hit all the reasons I don't like it, either. Everyone else at another forum I post at loves it, too, and I can't figure it out. Spelled Una, it'd be acceptable to me (just not my taste). Anything beginning with "Oo" is just weird. OoooOOOooOOoOo...
