It's beginning to grow on me, but I can't decide if I would prefer it on a boy or girl. I'm leaning towards girl at the moment.

Which gender do you prefer Quinn to be used for? And it would be helpful if you could give me your general opinion on Quinn, too.

Quinn is... adorable. Youthful. Cute, you know. I find it difficult to imagine a Quinn who is older than 20.

I went to school with a girl Quinn, but she was very boyish, so I could easily see it on a boy as well.

I think it's a cute name. I prefer it as a nickname for a fancier full version, like Quinta or Quintina or Quinten or something.

I like it on both. I prefer the spelling Quinn on a girl, and Quin on a boy as a nn for Quinton.

I've always loved Quinn, however, I think Glee has made it so that I won't use it now.

Anyway, I think it fits better on a girl, but I can see it on a boy.

I don't like it. It just doesn't sound namey to me, and the sound of it doesn't appeal. I think of Quill and Queen.

If I had to pick one, I'd MUCh rather see it on a boy than a girl. But I'd prefer Quentin, or for a girl Aquinnah nn Quinn.

All I ever think of is the old Dylan song - for which I thank you, but my colleagues probably won't because I'll be whistling it all day - and so it's most emphatically Boy.

That said, I've never met one, of either gender. I knew a Quintus once, but he only went by the full name; likewise a girl Quintillian but she was known as Quinty. I'd enjoy it more as a mn, I think.

I just can't pick. I love the name, but I have never been able to decide which gender. On a boy it is masculine, while still being fresh and full of energy. When used for a girl it's spunky while staying away from childish.

It's all boy to me - I love it, it's quirky, handsome yet has an old-fashioned charm to it as well. I love that double 'n' ending, it looks aesthetically pleasing to me.

I vastly prefer it for a boy! It's on my top 10 list of names for a future son. I guess I wouldn't mind it on a girl, but I wouldn't use it for a girl myself. For some reason, Quinn seems very outdoorsy to me.

Besides Cameron and Riley, this is the most masculine sounding unisex name ever. Probably only unisex because of that dreadful show Glee.

I like it best for a girl.

I think it has a very unisex feel, which I'm not really into at the moment. Also, Glee has kind of ruined it - it is getting increasingly popular.

I really like Quinn. To me it is strictly a masculine name. I can't imagine it on a girl at all. It seems too harsh on a girl to me.

Quinn is the only name I've ever equally considered for both genders. I love, love, love it! I am back and forth about it every day, trying to decide which gender I would prefer to use it on I think right this minute, I'm rooting for girl.

Quinn is one of the few unisex names I prefer on a girl. I don't mind it on a boy either, but I just picture it better on a girl. In general, I really like the name Quinn, even if it is less feminine than my usual tastes for girls.

The first time I heard this name was on a boy. I prefer more feminine sounding names on girls. I also like it for a nickname for Quinton.

I don't like Quinn. I have a general dislike of surnames as fns, unless it's from your own family tree, although I have a few exceptions.

That said, Quinn always sounds like "queen" to me. It's just odd in my ears. I don't like it for either sex.

It's the name of a friend's daughter, and I've never met a male Quinn, so this is easy for me. I think of it as sort of the Lynn of the 2000s... unisex enough for either sex, but at the moment it's way cooler for a girl, and seems a little prissy on a boy to me.

BTW, I think my friend who named her daughter Quinn was inspired by the 90's TV drama "Dr Quinn, Medicine Woman" and is most likely bummed about it being popularized in "Glee."

It's a nice name. Usually I don't like Q names, but I like this one. I like it on a boy, but that's because the only Quinn I know is a guy.
