I love Lila! I pronounce it "LIE-la."Leila, Layla, Laila- "LAY-la."Lelia- This looks more like "LEL-ee-a" to me.I'm from the US, New Jersey specificially.

I pronounce Lila as LIE-luh, since that's the first pronounciation I heard. I grew up watching Hey Arnold, which had a character named Lila, and her name was pronounced LIE-luh.Leila, Layla, and Laila would all be pronounced LAY-luh in my book.Lelia would be pronounced LEE-lee-uh.I think all of them are pretty, but Lila is the prettiest. I'm from New York.

Laila = Lie-la - this is my Aunt's name and it's prn. same as Lila. I believe is the Scandinavian spelling (my grandma is Danish)

I'm from the Western United States, and I pronounce Lila LIE-la.Leila - LEE-la or LAY-la. My first inclination is to pronounce it LEE-la, though.
Layla - LAY-la.
Laila - LAY-la.
Lelia - LEEL-ee-a or LEEL-ya.
