JESS-ah-min, to rhyme with sin. I think Jessamine is stronger and more beautiful. Less popular, too. And you get to use Jessie which is adorable. Jasmine is overdone but also nice. Jasmine is an oriental princess (as in Aladdin) to me and Jessamine an independent, modern girl.
