Kali. I can see it with nns like
Kali,
Kala, and
Lani.
I think
Skylar is too tame for
Kalani. They both sound fairly modern, like kids who would be in the same class, but compared to
Kalani Skylar is very boring and a little too... "white" maybe? (I don't know how to say this without sounding racist...) This depends on where you live, of course, but to me it just sounds very bland and expected next to
Kalani, which is very uncommon and feels more colorful and exotic.
