It is classic, professional, subtly beautiful, a gem with a Victorian air-- but too ornamentally delicate for my taste. Evangeline also never fails to bring to mind a character (played by Kelly MacDonald) in the 2005 film Nanny McPhee... which is a bit distracting, as it is the only lasting image I have for the name.I feel as if I have encountered many bearers in the recent years, too... popularity, while not an obstacle for some, would flicker my faith in bestowing that name to a child.- Francesca
