What do you think of Ztella / Stella ?
Stella is one of my favorite names. I have a hard time loving girls names, but Stella was one of the few I could actually see myself using, until today when I found out that my cousin and his girlfriend are planning on naming their daughter (due in January) Ztella. My cousin and his siblings all have names starting with Z, but I didn't see Ztella coming. It just looks SO ugly with that spelling. I'm hoping they will change their minds, but given that his name starts with Z, the mother is even younger than I am, and my aunt loves "unique" spellings they will probably end up with Ztellah or something. ;-)
And while I'm on it, do any of you have any suggestions of names in the same style as Stella? It doesn't have to look or sounds anything like it, but since I can't use Stella now, I thought I'd should start looking for some new ideas.

I like Stella but I agree that Ztella looks ridiculous. Will they pronounce it the same as Stella?

Yep, it's said exactly like Stella. From the others I like Ellen and Clara. Louisa is nice too on someone else's child.

I like Stella, but Ztella seems like a very bad idea. It doesn't really even remind me of Stella.
If they want a name that starts with Z, why not Zara, Zaria, Zora, Zola, Zinnia, Zipporah, Zinovia / Zenovia, or Zofia?
