[Opinions] Emily... or Emilie?

I like Emily best. Th "y" below the line is more interesting, I think.
I like Emily better. But I'm not a huge fan of the name regardless. It just seems like the more common spelling would be less confusing.
Since you ask which spelling, I'm guessing you pronounce Emily and Emilie the same way. In my brain, Emilie is *supposed* to be "e-MEE-lee-ə", but I'm never sure which is meant when I see it. If I wanted the "EM-ə-lee" pronunciation to be clear to everyone who reads the name, I'd use Emily, but my guess is that most English speakers on the street would pronounce them the same way.
I'm used to Emily and I suppose Emilie would work with a French surname. I went to school with a girl named Emilie. Overall, I suppose I prefer Emily although despite having a niece with the name, I just don't find it to be very exciting. WDYT of Emilia? It's a little more different and she'd have other nn options.
I love both. It depends on the region and the last name. I do prefer Émilie WITH the accent aigu :D
