Too close to the dated Darren, and it looks like a major throat-clearing episode.

My brother is called Dáire, which was rare in the 1970s, and he always got called Darren.

It looks awkward and difficult to pronounce. I prefer Dara, which is a bit simpler. It sounds very Irish to me, so might be a bit jarring on a non-Irish person.

I love it! That's possibly my favorite way to spell it too.

I like it a lot but prefer Dáire (which is my brother's name). Darragh is getting sadly overused here though.

Looks awesome, until I think of an American trying to pronounce it and looking like a cat clearing a hairball.

I love it, but prefer it spelled Dara.

I like Darragh a lot (this spelling). I'm just not sure it would be worth it in the long run due to the spelling. There was a kid (male) in my dd's graduating class named Dara.

Prefer Daireor Dairine on a girl. Darragh just grates on me
